Well almost got Arcanina done, fleshed out the rules, and got most of the counters done.  All I really have to do now if finish the counters and work up some sort of Player’s mat.

That’s a full 39 games I designed this year, and puts me with most of next years Mini-Games already done.  I should have plenty of time then to work on Battle Axe and some other projects. 

Speaking of Battle Axe, I finished the artwork on two more dwarf characters today, getting the color laid in.  Four more of those and that faction will be done.  I also began to work on some rough comp studies for the cards themselves, thinking about their layout, boarder images and what not.  Maybe I will put up a few different versions and see what players would like to use, and if they have any suggestions or comments.  Might be fun to get them involved and build some excitement for the game when it’s released.

As I’m almost done with stuff, I have begun to make a list of ideas for 2010’s games.  Short list so far, but once I’m done with Battle Axe, I have to start of those games.  I’ve also had some ideas about some sort of monthly Bad Baby e-magazine.  Might be a place where I can offer extra stuff for the games, free additions and comments, strategy guides and comments.  Would be nice to get a year of two worth of articles done for it so I can then just put it out.  Don’t know if I would charge money for it, it would be a nice free product, which I could then use to promote the brand and the games.  Course with the work it would take, it would also be nice to make some money on it.  I’ll keep thinking about it, but if time permits this summer, after Battle Axe is done, I might jump into it and get a lot of it done.

Course I would have to come up with a name for it, something cool and fun.  Might have to hold a contest or something to get some input…
