Well I'm back at it again, working like a dog and getting things done. After last weeks dull performance, I got a lot done today, with the rules for Arcanina more or less done, just some shining up to do, the map tiles all finished and the counters started. So I should be done with it all by midweek. I’ve been using some of One Monk’s art for the counters. I normally do the art myself, but these where nice enough to use and it will be nice to have a different look to the game then what I usually put out. Cost me $40 bucks, which will be all the profits for the game in the coming year, but I can use the stuff for other games as well. On to other matters, Dexter was a blast last night, as was True Blood. Both shows have been excellent this year, with True Blood being a real surprise. Glad to see that Big Love will be back at the start of the year. Tonight is supposed to be a big Heroes Night, so we will see what twist comes out of it all.

Ya know, in the amount of posting you do to your blog, it seems as though you're fairly busy, and just chugging along most days getting stuff done.
I wouldn't be worried or upset about a slow week, people do need to take time for themselves every so often...
If we are what we eat, I'm cheap, fast and easy.

Thanks, I try not to get bummed when work goes to crap, as the only dead lines are those I put on myself, but keeping the pressure on, even if its self imposed, is also the best way to keep myself on task. Ask any freelancer worth their beans and they will tell you the same thing, the work load is all self imposed, but needed.
If I didn't keep myself on a dead line of some sorts, well I'd just sit around and drink beer, watch the tube and think of ways to get the wife to jump into bed with me for a quick one. Hell, I do all those things anyways, just not with as much effort as when I'm working on a game.
I do though, takes some pride in being prolific in my work and the amount that I produce in a year, 24+ games in a year is a tall order to create, especially when you are a one man shop and have to do all the art work, the design work, writing, productions, etc, etc, etc. Good thing I don't make much money on it or I might get depressed...
